How to Set Up a URL Redirect

Follow the steps below to set up a redirect link: 

  1. Navigate to the Sales Module and click on the Shortcuts tab
  2. Select the green "Create a URL Alias" button

  3. Enter shortcut path (shortcut path should be everything after "(yourdomain).com/."  

    Note that the following terms cannot be used in the Shortcut Path.

    cache
    clientuploads
    freedom_html
    graphics
    plugins

    1. For example, if I wanted to set up accrisoft.com/test to direct to a new page, I'd enter "test" in the Shortcut Path field

  4. Enter the URL of the page the redirect should direct to in the URL field
    1. This can be done by simply pasting a URL in the URL field or using the Link Wizard via the "Insert Link" button

Note: The shortcut path must be used with the website's domain. For example, you can not set up a shortcut path on accrisoft.com with the URL accrisoft123.com/test by entering "test" in the Shortcut Path field. You can only enter a URL that is part of "accrisoft.com".
