Restricting content from certain viewers using the Web Access Module

The Web Access module in Freedom allows you to restrict specific content to certain member levels or categories, hiding it from users who do not meet the access criteria.

Note: If the Web Access module is not available in your system, submit a support ticket to support@accrisoft.com to request access.

How Web Access works

Within the Web Access module, you create Restrictions and assign them to specific Member Levels or Categories. Once restrictions are set up, the Web Access field becomes available in supported modules such as Web Pages, Events, and Pages.

Example: Setting up a "VIP" restriction

  1. Open the Web Access module.
  2. Navigate to the Restrictions tab and create a restriction named "VIP."
  3. Go to the Categories tab and edit a category to grant it access to pages with the VIP restriction.
  4. Apply the VIP Web Access restriction to any content you want to hide from users without that access level.
